Petroleum Experts Ltd (Petex) has granted 10 licences of MOVE Suite Software to LGLTPE - Université Claude Bernard de Lyon 1
The structural geology and petroleum engineering software company Petroleum Experts Ltd (PetEx). with headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland, has donated 10 MOVE suite software licences to the Laboratory of Geology of Lyon: Earth, Planets and Environment (LGLTPE), valued £1,409,059.98
The MOVE suite is the leading software used for 3D structural geology modelling and geological sections' reconstruction. It consists of numerous kinematic and mechanical analyses modules, including digital mapping toolkits for fieldwork.
The MOVE suite will be used by undergraduated and graduated students, as well as lecturers and researchers of the laboratory, for academic research projects on tectonics of mountain ranges and sedimentary basins.
